Quiz Night
On Saturday, November 17th at 8.00pm we will be holding our annual quiz night in the Parish Rooms. All parents and friends are invited to book a table and come along and support the preschool. There will be food and a bar on the night and it’s sure to be a fun-filled evening. Tickets cost £7.00 per person. Full details on booking a table and how you can help with providing food will be available on the Pepperpot noticeboard, or please ask Sue or Becca.
Lunch Club
All children are welcome to attend the lunch club on Tuesday and Friday. To help with planning, we prefer for places to be pre-booked. The cost for this is £4 per lunch. However, we quite understand that some parents may wish to book on an ad hoc basis, in which we case we simply ask for 24hrs notice. To help ensure we have adequate staff to over this, the cost is a little more at £6 per lunch.
Committee
As you are probably aware, Pepperpot is run by a Committee which was re-elected in June. Our chair is Jan, supported by fellow parents Rachel, Vanessa, Ruth, Becca, Clare and George. All parents are welcome to come to any of the meetings.
Volunteering
A large part of the success of Pepperpot is due to the support of the parents and there are many ways you can get involved to help the school. It can be as little or as much as you like. Whether it’s serving on the Committee, helping out in the mornings, fundraising, or offering skills that might be useful, all help is much appreciated. Please let Sue know if you would like to get more involved.
Clothing
We would just like to remind all parents to please ensure that your child’s clothes are all marked or tagged with their name. This is especially relevant to their Pepperpot T-shirt or sweatshirt – with just 2 sizes they can easily get mixed up! All clothing removed during a session will be put either in their dap bag or their drawer to collect at the end of the session. Many thanks.
Photographer
Sue will be arranging for the photographer to come in and take photos of the children in the next few weeks. Please look out on the noticeboard for further details.
